I'm pushing 60 years old and as far back as I can remember presidential elections have pretty much always been the same; a choice between the lesser of two evils. The election process has become very dirty, very nasty, very distorted! Candidates are duplicitous, they offer promises they are voted in which they do not honor. Lots of mud slinging, character assassinations, sound bites and photo ops selling these low lifes Madison Avenue style. There is no debate about any of the real issues, they all just banter about one or two token crises of the time. The lines are so blurred between Republican and Democratic I see them all as the same, Republicrats. And why does it cost so much that the only chance you have of getting in office is with corporate sponsorship?
The whole process has become frustrating I hate casting a vote for a candidate not because I want them but because the other ones are even more frightening! Whom ever I vote for the result will be the same: more degradation of my country, more money stolen from my kids, more people killed around the world, more environmental damage, more corruption, more government, more regulation of my life, more movement in the wrong direction, more, more, more... bad.
I can understand why many people are dropping out of the whole process not even voting under these conditions. Becoming disenchanted shall we say?
I can understand why real candidates who would actually do us all some good and really fix things avoid this snake pit fraught with venomous dangers.
 For the first time ever, I have never seen anything like this before in my entire life, in the '08 presidential election I ACTUALLY HAVE A REAL CHOICE!!!!! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. We are fortunate to have a candidate in this upcoming election who is a champion of the people and our constitution. Someone who will clean house and really fix problems. A candidate whom is actually an HONEST politician! Corporate lobbyists don't even bother stopping at his office. That alone should be his ticket into office they are so few and far between these days. He believes in the rights and freedoms of people and he believes in the constitution. He would represent and protect both as our elected representative in the nations most powerful office.
He is the only candidate that has as a platform the abolishion of the Federal Reserve, the root of most of our problems. Do away with the illegal IRS, negate all of Bush's executive orders trying to establish a dictatorship, return our lost rights, immediately bring our military home not only from Iraq but from around the world also, set in place a national policy of non-intervention in the internal affairs of other nations and make our government a servant of the people among other things. This candidate is Ron Paul. He is the ONLY candidate that even dares to make such open claims. And when you get to know him you will know he means it, that is what he will do.
Unfortunately Neo the whole election process has been compromised. If you are not one of the controlling power representatives you will not get the supporting coverage and public exposure that they will. Corporate major media will do their best to keep you out of the limelight and out of the public site. They will at minimum hide this candidate from their reporting and some will even distort, slander and demonize them. He is a thorn in their side, a threat to their plans to make America a nation state in the New World Order.
 Fortunately this is still America, we have an old and honored tradition of breaking away from an oppressive, tyrannical and deceitful government known as revolution. Though it is our own government we refer to now, and they control the media, the Internet is the wild card. They have no control of the web. The web is where the free people are getting their non-propaganda news and information. The web is where the free people are collecting and organizing against this beast that has become our government. One could say that the Internet is the modern day equivalent of the Buckman Tavern.
Know this also Neo, America is waking up, patriots are standing up, we do have an actual revolution in progress, it's Ron Paul. He can't be bought by corporate lobbyists and get this, he actually refuses to accept some of the assembly perks that all others accept because it is wrong. He is the only candidate that is a true American understanding the principals our founding fathers put forth in which this nation grew to it's greatness with. Make no mistake about this, all other candidates are New World Order, bought and paid for, wanna be's.
The people are organizing and rallying to take back what is theirs and return this government to what it should be and Ron Paul is their avatar. He would be their worst nightmare, a president who actually loves and believes in America and her people. So you decide, do it now with votes, or years after the lights go out and we are living under another Hitler, then do it with guns. I would prefer the vote method and save everyone a lot of heartache and pain.
Don't let the media whores fool you about Ron having you believe he is a minor, or no, candidate. They all talk up the big names that will represent the corporate interests and keep his name quiet, hidden from you. Their polls in which Ron Paul is a no show are polls of people who haven't heard of Ron Paul or he's not even an option on their lists. Don't be fooled again this is why we have such a mess today because of years of manipulating the voting public in just this way!
 On the Internet however where the sampling of people are aware of Ron Paul and his name is a polling option the results are quiet different... dramatically different! The last I checked, YouPolls had Ron Paul at 91% almost every other republican candidate was, you could say, a "no show" in comparison to him. The link above is from

online polls. The term "Ron Paul" has been measured as the top Internet
search term by Technorati.com since May 9, 2007. He has the most
YouTube subscriptions as of June 13th these surpassed 16,300 and he
dominates the blogging. He has become one of the most famous

Alas, modern politics in America have become seriously corrupted. Virtually all of government and mass media are controlled by corporate private entities. So even though Dr. Paul won every debate with landslide victories and the majority of state straw polls making him the favorite of the people... he is not the candidate the oligarchs want, he will serve the people, not them. These people are treacherous I can't help feeling Dr. Paul was visited by one of their attack dogs and given a choice of step down or have family members suffer a string of fatal "accidents". Such is modern America. Anyways, the fight continues. Dr. Paul has suspended his campaign, he did not terminate it. There are many that consider this a brilliant move considering today's political climate. Dr. Paul did wake up America and start a revolution which is still in progress and growing. That alone is a great victory he has already accomplished.
