This is one of the first things you must do. Break the "Matrix" programming and conditioning that has been put in to you. The combination of corporate controlled media news/entertainment and government controlled education has programmed "we" as a collective to believe many wrong things and also to not believe many right things. Dumbed down and duped you could say. The corporations and government do not want informed critically thinking people. They want an ignorant easily controlled herd of livestock. Many of us, and our children, have to be deprogrammed so to speak. Re-educate ourselves and our children as to what is right, to think critically for ourselves rather than depending on propaganda pundents to do our thinking for us, etc. Parents take charge of your children's education by keeping informed as to what the government system is trying to wrongly put into them and correct it at home. This could very well be a daily exercise after school between you and your children. Here is a link that might be able to help you get started with that.

Here is something else you can do to to re-orient yourself with the way it should be Neo. A suggested reading. The Global Sovereign's Handbook. It has been released into the public domain in electronic PDF format. I must warn you Neo that this book deals with "truth". There may be parts within it's context that might be hard pill's to swallow. Specifically, the secton entitled Truth is an Endangered Species in chapter One comes to mind. Truth it is and as the saying goes the truth will set you free.

Use this right before you lose this right. This is something everyone can do that can still make a big difference. Now you know why the last 40 years of voting for change has never given us change. Spend your vote wisely this time for real change, try something different, vote with your head informed. Seek out the information for yourself don't let GE and other mega corporations spoon feed you the crap they want you to think and believe. Take America back, it belongs to us, not them.

Most of the candidates, regardless of party, are Bohemian members, CFR members, part of the problem. A vote for any one of them is another nail in the coffin. Do the research, go out to the senate and assembly web sites and look up the records of these candidates. Find out who represents us and who represents the corporations and New World Order mentality.

America is in trouble and needs her people more than ever to come to her rescue. Inform people in your circle of life about the looming danger that threatens our country and us all. Place posters on your car, post them around town, tell everyone you talk to. We have to get the word out, the corporate media will not.

You could join one or more of the many blogs on the net devoted to the topics the mass media keeps quite. MatrixUSA has it's own blog. This is an excellent way to open communication about subjects the mass media has closed.

You could also use the recommend feature found at the bottom of every page to email your friends and tell them about this web site. Spreading the word is a powerful asset of the people. Our current government and mass media are doing their best to squelch any communication by anybody about any of this. They are doing their best to remove your options and choices is that what you want to continue living under?

If you would like to wake up those in your community you could try handing out "flyers". Here are several in PDF format that you can print, make copies of and distribute to the public around you. Leave stacks of handouts in public places, canvass consumer parking lots tagging vehicles, or whatever it takes to raise the question, get them to take a look for themselves. Whatever you do, do it in a polite and civic minded manner. Do not engage in arguments or try forcing the information upon anyone for example. Some people are not ready or unable to unplug from the Matrix.

Bumper Stickers

This is a great way to reach people where they are. Specifically stuck in traffic burning Exxon/Mobile stolen blood oil going nowhere, coming or going from their debt servitude slave jobs to fund the government and the FED. The right expression on a bumper at a moment of "are we having fun yet" epiphany in traffic can work wonders.

Join marches and demonstrations, hit the streets, get out there, become part of the count. Participate in civil disobedience, refuse the national ID. The next step is electronic tagging you won't even be able to buy a loaf of bread without their permission. They could turn your life off with the flick of a switch.

Each of us must choose which course of action we should take: education, conventional political action, or even peaceful civil disobedience to bring about necessary changes. But let it not be said that we did nothing.

For those new to all of this may I suggest a good starting point for activism. Find a Ron Paul Meetup group near you. There are so many RP Meetups finding one near you should be easy for most, there are probably several near you. The collective number of people involved in RP Meetups represents a significant standing army on the ground right now. These people already know most of what is going on, are organized and very active.

Another activist group you may want to consider joining is We Are Change. They have formed activist groups all around the planet. If you cannot find one in your area then start a We Are Change chapter in your neighborhood. We Are Change is quite aggressive in peacefully confronting corrupt "leaders". Check out the video documentaries of their activities to see if it is right for you.

Activism can take many forms. There are the "hit the street" approaches as already mentioned here. There is also the "stop cooperating" approach to activism. A form of civil disobediance so to speak. For an example of this type of activism in which you can take part you might want to consider Revolt Starts Now. This is also an example of how an ordinary person whom, thanks to the abuse of the banking system, has become an activist. She has a four point plan in which everyone can participate that, given enough numbers, will begin to have a serious impact upon the support base of the oppresive machinery we all are being abused by.

Do something.

As a minimum you should start writing your government representatives and let them know of your awareness and anger about all this. Turn the heat up on them, hold a flame to their feet so to speak. For the best effect send multiple communications in different forms. Email their Washington office, email their local office, fax their Washington office, fax their local office, hand write two notes and snail mail one to their Washington office and the other to their local office and then call their offices and ask to speak to them also. We might actually get some of them to do the right thing if they think someone is actually watching. This link to Contact The Congress will let you find your representatives and email them quickly. It also provides other access services.

Another option would be to join one or more congressional watchdog groups. This link to Downsize DC would be a good start. Not only do they keep track of what congress is doing but they will email you notices about what they are doing. Their notices are very informative briefly explaining the issue with current congressional activity. In addition they will provide you with a link to their website and compose an email form for you to be mailed to all of your representatives with room for you own personal comments. Be warned, this group is extremely active and is trying to put pressure on congress big time. If you join thier effort, expect an email 3 to 5 times a week with a new issue for you to consider then email congress about if you choose.

You might also sign political redress/reform petitions or get involved in political activism. I've included a few examples of what I refer to here.

The American Freedom Campaign Agenda will work to restore the roles of Congress and the federal judiciary to protect against injustice and prevent abuses of executive power. After Downing Street is trying to expose the illegal and deceptive way the American public was led into war for corporate profit and political gain. Their focus is impeaching Bush. The American Freedom Agenda’s mission is twofold: the enactment of a cluster of statutes that would restore the Constitution’s checks and balances as enshrined by the Founding Fathers; and, making the subject a staple of political campaigns and of foremost concern to Members of Congress and to voters and educators.

If you can't get proper satisfaction from your elected representatives maybe running for an office yourself would be a consideration. That is our birthright in this country, anyone can be president is how the constitution was designed. We need to clean house and get these rats and other treasonous vermin out of our leadership positions. We need to get real people who are only interested in our country and our collective future and welfare back in there. Not these money/power hungry traitors. This link is dedicated to "cleaning house" so to speak. This might be a good starting point for the average citizen who is interested in running for a public office. Help and support may be found there.

If running for a public office in not for you then just supporting other constitutional candidates would certainly help. This link to Retake Congress can guide you towards candidates that will represent the people and the country. Uphold their oath of office. Something that is sorely needed and sadly missing from our current crop of "representatives". Their goal is to find and support at least one candidate to run in all 435 congressional districts who will solemnly swear to uphold this simple non-partisan platform that covers 4 areas:

• The Economy: Honesty and transparency must be returned to our financial system. There should be a thorough investigation and evaluation of the Federal Reserve System. The arbitrary power to create money with no oversight must be ended. There should be no increase in the national debt. The Federal Government needs to stay out of the affairs of  private business. There should be no taxpayer bailouts of corporations and no corporate subsidies.

• Individual Rights: Individual rights and sovereignty are supreme and inherent. The proper role of government is to protect our unalienable rights to life, liberty, and property. The federal government must serve the people by protecting these rights within the borders of the states that make up the union. We must repeal the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, and the FISA legislation. We must reject the notion and practice of torture, elimination of habeas corpus, secret tribunals, and secret prisons. We must deny immunity for corporations that spy willingly on the American people for the benefit of the government. We must return the checks and balances as intended by the founders.  The illegal use of signing statements and illegal use of executive orders must be ended. The government must not regulate the content of the media.

• Foreign Policy: We must stand for a strong national defense. The military is the main responsibility of the Federal Government. Our military should be used to protect only our citizens and defend our borders. We need to get our troops out of foreign countries and politics. Our foreign policy should not impose our will or way of life on other nations. We must not act as world police. We must reject international treaties that could destroy our national sovereignty.

Congressional Promise: No member of congress should ever vote for any bill they have not read!

Pick one, or several, of the organizations that have formed to try and fight this monster we now face. There are many good organizations out there fighting for what is right on all levels and all issues. Support them in any way you can even if it is only by simply donating to their effort on all our behalves.

Here is a suggestion. FiveForFreedom is a web site and program started by Trevor Lyman of the record breaking Ron Paul money bomb fame. The idea is public education and awareness. Donate just $5 a month and the money is used to buy TV time across the country to air programming main stream media will not show you. Corporate mass media is no longer unbiased nor is it fair and comprehensive reporting. It is more programming and propaganda designed to stear you in a way they want you to go. The purpose is to get you to think what they want you to think which in todays "Fascist" climate is generally not in your interest.. Notice how even many TV shows and movies have a common theme? There are many dangers you are facing and it is the officials and uniforms that will protect and save you. Big government is good, police are moral, constitutional restrictions are bad inhibiting their abilty to protect you. Be careful Neo, be very very careful they are expert at getting you to think what they want you to think.

If you do nothing else break free of this. Find news sources that are more worthy of the title. Ones that just give you the facts as unbiased as possible, all the facts, and let you decide for yourself what to think about it all. The internet is a good source if you look carefully I've even provided a few starting points on the links page. Talk with the other leaders of this country, your fellow citizens. Find some time if not daily at least once a week to keep abreast of national, local, issues. It doesn't have to be a painful dry process, a chore, Bill Maher's Real Time and the Jon Stewart Daily Show comes to mind in which a broad range of topics and opinions are examined in an entertaining way. Read the op-ed's of selected people whom you know are on top of this to get varying opinions as to what is happening.
